Had my first Roller Derby scrimmage of the year...
…and I didn’t hurt myself (too much)! As I still haven’t seen the physio yet I’m not going to do it again until I have the all clear. I’ve pushed my luck enough as it is.

I disagree. If today’s parents were less judgmental and today’s youth were more open there wouldn’t be a problem. Especially if both parties conduct themselves with a bit of dignity and class. There are some things in this world which should be kept private at all costs.

My Birmingham Blitz Dames Return!
Despite the stress caused by my horrendous line-up managing, I had a great time with the Dames yesterday. It was great to see my derby pals again. It’s been far too long. My fitness/rehabilitation kick begins tomorrow and I will start easing myself back into skating next Saturday.
